PUBLIC AFFAIRS LEAD
Jacob brings a penchant for creative energy, big ideas, and a genuine love of helping others to his role of Public Affairs Lead at Julie & Co.
Building on his formal education in political management, he has built a career out of working with businesses and other organizations committed to building stronger, more inclusive communities. As an advocate and not-for-profit executive, Jacob has demonstrated significant success developing and implementing advocacy strategies, running grassroots campaigns, forming and communicating policy recommendations, and creating compelling content and programs. When he isn’t helping your organization fulfill its public affairs objectives, Jacob can be found hiking, sipping a good whisky, and telling cringeworthy dad jokes – often all at once.

FOUNDER & CEO
Julie is an award-winning event planner and communicator. Drawing from her experience working on Parliament Hill early in her career, Julie knew she wanted to bring together her formal education in Public Relations, and her experience in event planning to form her own firm. Slowly dipping her foot into the world of being an entrepreneur, she created a boutique event planning company. After being listed on Chatelaine’s 40 under 40 list, she knew it was time to take the plunge and expand Julie & Co to what it is today: a boutique firm offering Event, PR and Public Affairs Management. Most days you can find Julie sipping chai lattes or hanging out with her dog, but her time is usually spent here building up the Julie & Co Empire, or helping other military spouses form businesses, or take the leap into entrepreneurship. She has been called a smart cookie her whole life, but she is also down to watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians on repeat!
